The Virginia Business Directory is a free directory designed to showcase retail, commercial, and professional businesses in Virginia. Listings in the Directory are free. Businesses can create a listing in the directory quickly and easily by registering here. Once you have received your login information, log in to the site and create your listing from the menu on the right hand side of the page.
For even more exposure, you can create an ad. Ads are placed for a small monthly fee ($25/month), and give your business even more exposure. Ad revenue supports the cost of providing the site. Once you have created and paid for an ad, you will be able to get the same kind of advertising information you get from ad services like Google. Ad statistics include how many times the ad has been viewed and how many times people have clicked through to your own business site.
The Virginia Business Directory received its original funding from the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development ARC (Appalachian Regional Commission) Entrepreneurship fund. It is a joint project of Crossroads Institute (Galax, Virginia), VECTEC VECTEC SW, Lebanon, Virginia, (representing the Electronic Business Villages of southwest Virginia), and Design Nine, Inc. of Blacksburg, Virginia.
